Where we are and why
(Placement)
I was driving down the road the other day and God revealed something amazing to me. Everything is in its place for
a reason, even Christians. I was made aware of this when I observed a fruit tree growing in a field beside the road. Have
you ever wondered why some fruit trees will grow better in one place than in another. Climate is why, fruit like apples and
cherries need a cooler climate than say oranges or peaches, which need a warmer climate to produce. God knew that the fruit
trees needs are different just like he knows our needs are different. God knows that our Christian needs are different from
one another and that is why as Christians we need to accept the things of God and let him fulfill the needs of this life and
stop trying to make it on our own.
Fruit trees however can sometimes be transplanted and bear fruit, I think God did this to show us just how great his
wisdom is. Some fruit trees however cannot be transplanted; they may live but won't bare fruit. Like an orange tree planted
in Ohio instead of Florida, in Florida it will produce a lot of fruit but in Ohio it will do good just to live. Christians
are like the fruit trees only God does the transplanting and he will not place a fruit tree where it will not bear fruit.
We may wonder why God wants us here in this place in our lives or in our service to him. The answer is simple we are placed
where we will bear the most fruit.
We are the fruit trees of God we live in his garden, and he is the master gardener of all time. He will not place you
where your needs will not be met nor will he place you in the wrong climate where you would not bear fruit. I have heard pastors
and other Christians complain that they feel they could serve better someplace else. They may say that where they are at it
is a dry hole with no movement. We need to encourage those in the ministry and let them know that God planted them where they
are for a reason and only God can transplant them somewhere else.
Placement is everything and God knows how to place you in service to his kingdom so that you will be most effective.
Be patient and mature while you are in the garden so you will bare a lot of fruit for the harvest.
Jeremiah 17:8 He will be like a tree planted by the water, that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when
heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
