The origins of the Japanese art of origami generally without any cutting and pasting. Origami began approximately
2 centuries after paper-making techniques were first introduced into Japan from China in the 6th century A.D. Although paper-making soon spread throughout Japan, until recently paper was still considered a
valuable commodity and origami creations were used principally for special ceremonial purpose such as temple festivals. The folding techniques of these ceremonial displays were so complicated but over the centuries they gradually evolved into
