Please
read carefully!! Passed and reviewed and must be follow.
Most Chat Channels
have Rules and #yfc::Undernet & Dalnet server is no exception.
Rules are here
to make everyone feel safe, comfortable, allow you to have a
good time and make new friends without the problems. Please use
common courtesy, common sense, along with manners, and please be
nice to each other.
This rules apply to all
chatters including the Operators.
#yfc is a virtual community -- but the people in
our chat rooms are real! Treat fellow members like real people,
with respect and civility. Remember that at any given time users
from all over the world are logged on. Be culturally sensitive.
Enjoy and learn from others who share the desire to engage in
meaningful dialogue and experience the latest in interactive
global communication.
Here are some general,
helpful rules-of-thumb:

No swearing, obscenities, or
vulgarities.

Joining sex/porno and other
related channels while you are in #yfc
is prohibited.

Choosing a chat handle/nickname
which violates this rule: (OPS will determine the
acceptability of words or chat handles at its sole discretion)
This includes handles such as "satan", "evil", "demon", "hot",
"hottie", "sex", "horny", or other words in a handle with
sexual overtones.

Posting or
transmitting any unsolicited advertising, promotional
materials or any other forms of solicitation that does not
concern this channel.
-
No background colours or
underline on normal text.
-
AVOID USING ALL CAPS. Using all
caps is the virtual equivalent of shouting and should be done
sparingly.

No
harassing of the Ops & Chatters
-
No rudeness toward other users
or obnoxious behavior.
-
No bad remarks about a user's
moral, ethnics, culture beliefs.
-
Do not ask or beg for OPs.. We
do the choosing!
-
No Flooding
with text, join or part, action, ASCII characters, ASCII art
or nick changes, MP3 playing and No clones. Repeat Text
Maximum of 4 lines.

Use English, Filipino and/or
Taglish dialect in the main window. You are free to use your
own native dialect as long as you do it on a private window.
Let us respect others who do not understand other languages.
The channel operators (those with
@) have the right to kick/ban anyone if he feels that you have
violated these rules.

Conduct.

All above rules apply to #yfc
channel operators with the exemption of rules 7 and 10.

You are required to use your
original nick while you're opped(@) or active in the
channel. If you are using another nick or inactive do not
op(+o) yourself in the channel and set yourself to voice mode
(+v) if you want to. Operator action is strictly prohibited.

Always consult the operator
concerned before removing/suspending the operator access or
else notify channel admins/council (access level 400+) of the
necessary actions.

Adding another operator is NOT
a right. Always consult/notify channel admins (access level
400+).

Channel Operators are required
to login from time to time or atleast twice a month.

All Operators must subscribe to
Channel Admin Grouplist to subscribe, send an email to channelyfc-ops-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Violation
to this, suspension/removal of OPs access.
Note: Official
Channel BOT are exempted to all rules of the channel. Bot Admins
are held responsible of any bot actions/bugs. Adding of channel
Bot are approved by Channel Council.

CHANNEL GENERAL RULES:
Use Filipino, English or Taglish, Flooding the channel with
text/nick/join or part, no clones, repeating, obscene
channels/nicks and languages, profanity and vulgarity, hacking,
abuse of colors, ALL CAPS, MP3 playing, advertisements of any
kind that does not concern this channel, humiliation and
harassment of fellow chatters, divulging of personal issues in
the main room, are STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
