Eyes

(What our eyes want, think, wish at different ages)

At the age of

 0mths            :    Everything is unclear. Who are these people hovering

                             above me?    

 5 year old      :    The world is so beautiful! Those toys look really fun!

 10 year old    :    This pair of spectacles make everything look so clear! 

                             Cool!

 15 year old    :    This game is so fun! So colourful and vibrant! Graphics are 

                             so fantastic!

 20 year old    :    Oh man! We wish we do not need the stupid spectacles. 

                             Those good-looking beings could not see how bright and big we are! 

 35 year old    :    Dang! We are getting old. Just staring at the computer 

                             screen for an hour is too much for us. We are seeing stars.

 50 year old    :    Now, we cannot see things that are too far away or too 

                             near to us. What are we supposed to do?

 65 year old    :    We can no longer see without the spectacles. We wish age 

                             has not caught up with us at all.

 75 year old    :    Sigh! We know that we are decomposing even as we 

                             speak. Our only wish is that we can start over and absorb 

                             the sights of beauty all over again.
