Essay 2 Question 1 Roland Barthes describe the ideal text as one that makes "the reader no longer a consumer, but a producer of the text." Texts that allow the reader to become producer (or "writer") are what Barthes describes as "writerly" texts. In what ways are hypertextual documents a realization of the writerly text?
