A number of people have inquired about very high speed films. I tried some Kodak 1000 Royal Gold quite a few years ago and
obtained quite satisfactory results. I recently obtained some Fuji 1600 Superia. After loading the film I took it out to lunch
at the local TGI Fridays. This is a very low light environment and would be quite a challenge to get any existing light photo.
These were taken with a Minox B at 1/30 sec. on Fuji 1600 Superia film.
Ultra high speed film is great for getting low-light pictures if you do not mind huge grain particles. Because of the small
format (8mm x 11mm) of Minox negatives the grain factor is more highly exaggerated than with other formats.
Always try new cameras and film before finding that the results you'd think you'd get, aren't.
