How It Works
Media Gateway was designed with cost effective simplicity in mind. To produce searchable
and interactive media for your Website, the only thing you'll need is video content
in a tape, digital file, or live feed format. Pictron can simultaneously encode video in
RealNetwork's RealVideo, Microsoft Windows Media, or Apple QuickTime formats in multiple
bitrates allowing you to reach your entire targeted audience.
In the process, Pictron's Media Gateway Suite automatically indexes, catalogs, and
summarizes video content to make video searchable. Once the video has been encoded and
indexed, the encoded video can be uploaded to specified Media Gateway Service Provider's
video hosting server or your own video server. The visual, audio, and textual indices are
stored in Pictron's Media Gateway media search server.

pages and graphics for video search, video browsing, and email video clips. Working with
