The bottom phot and the next photo were taken by time exposure from the walls of the Fort during a mortar attack from across the river. They managed only to flatten a few tires in this one. Several weeks later, Caprain Reed, our Commanding Officer, was killed in another, more accurate, attack and several officers were wounded.
