Hayle Mail June 26^th 1914.  

The trend to travel seems to be slackening up a bit at the present time, the majority of those who intended to be in Cornwall for the summer having gone through, and those who were making for America try to arrive before the 15^th of June, so that the real busy season is over until the fall of the year, when the Christmas rush starts.

We had another wedding this week. Mr Wm. Trethewey came in from Minneapolis to meet Miss L. Mitchell who was due to arrive on the S.S. Oceanic, both are from St Austell. After a weeks honeymoon in New York they go to Minneapolis, where they will reside in the future.
