We started an extensive internal rebuilding project in August 2001 which has fully raked the seating area resulting in better views, improved the acoustics (see Reviews and Letters) and greatly enhanced comfort and warmth.

Ongoing improvements (depending on fund raising) will be to:
- upgrade the toilet facilities
- improve disabled access
- enlarge the backstage area
- enlarge the bar
