Prowling through the lonely heart

Deep within the walls so dark

The nightwolf knows your pain and sorrows

Your hopes and dreams of all tomorrows

The joy you felt at loves first touch

The burning desire you felt so much

A wonderful glow to light the dark

And fill the void within your heart

The joy you thought would forever last

Would soon become part of the past

All the wonders would have to end

And within your heart, a hole would rend

Deeply dark, nights lonesome pain

Like a raging storm of pelting rain

Within your heart, a shattered dream
