RONIN SUMMER IV: INNER BATTLES

The battles thus far have all been won, but even fights that end well can leave scars. Weakened and tired, the Samurai Troopers and Sailor Senshi find themselves perfect targets for an old enemy who decides to strike at them unseen. As tragedy and catastrophe befall the courageous teens from all sides, can they even realise the master plan behind these actions before it's too late? How can they fight back, when they don't even know they're being attacked? There's more than one way to skin a cat, or break a hero, and the evil mastermind behind the hidden assaults plans to push these ten to their limits! Before all is said and done, the Troopers and Senshi will go face to face with old enemies, new allies, and the darkest, most twisted parts of their own souls...

  • Chapter One - First Blood

      When a friend falls ill, Seiji Date agrees to fill in and takes the wheel of a Formula One race car in the Kendai Grand Prix. But when he learns that he is in competition with another driver by the name of Haruka Ten'ou, and a saboteur strikes, can the Troopers pull a win, or will they crash and burn?

  • Chapter Two - Blood In The Water

      Haunted by a frightening vision of impending doom, Rei Hino seeks out Shin Mouri as the Yoroiden of Suiko returns to his hometown of Hana, in Yamaguchi. Soon, a mysterious and virulent toxin is killing fish and townsfolk alike, and it seems an old enemy of Shin's has returned for the ultimate payback... can Sailor Mars and Shin no Suiko prevail alone?

  • Chapter Three - Waking Up

      Seiji Date recovers from his coma, but learns to his dismay that his entire family has travelled to Tokyo to be by his side. Meanwhile, Ryo Sanada is forced out of his depression by an irate Tuxedo Kamen, and dragged to the hospital to visit his friend. When a pair of youma attempt to sabotage yet another hero, Ryo, without his armour, must work alone to stop them! Fortunately, he has help from a mysterious figure known as the Owl...

  • Chapter Four - The Razor's Edge

      One of Jadeite's elite soldiers has arrived at the Kameda Medical Centre, and plans to finish of both Seiji Date and the Sailor Senshi! His only opposition is Jun Yamano, Hotaru Tomoe, and Chibi-Usa, but can two inexperienced Senshi and an ordinary young boy succeed against one of the most lethal monsters in the Dark Kingdom? The lives of their friends and families depend on it!

  • Chapter Five - Target: Tuxedo Kamen

      Enraged at his interference with Kamasori's mission, Jadeite orders Tuxedo Kamen taken immediately. Nise Suiko and the entire Elite Squad are sent to earth and catch Mamoru Chiba and Usagi Tsukino off-guard. Soon, Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Chibimoon, and Usagi herself are spirited away to the depths of the Dark Kingdom. Captured by their greatest enemy, will Sailor Moon betray the Sailor Senshi to keep her family safe?

  • Chapter Six - Double Time

      Jadeite plays with his newest slave : Sailor Moon. Meanwhile, Nise Suiko loses patience with his new lord's schedule and leaves to attack Shin Mouri and Rei Hino once again. He tracks them to Rei's temple, the Hikawa Jinja, where she is trying desperately to cure the fallen Suiko of his vile double's toxin. Weak and defenseless, Shin and Rei MUST succeed against the onslaught of Nise Suiko, who has come for their blood! And, even if they DO win, Wiseman has a few more clones up his sleeve...

  • Chapter Seven - Reunions

      Alone and afraid in the Dark Kingdom, Chibi-Usa manages to find both Tuxedo Kamen, and an unexpected friend... Setsuna Meioh, meanwhile, tries to gain the aid of Kayura and Masho, and the Sailor Senshi and Samurai Troopers are once again reformed under the leadership of Ryo Sanada and the Owl! Jun Yamano makes a move of his own, Ryo and Ami are reconciled, and Jadeite's newest enemy gets an explosive welcome as he infiltrates Wiseman's chambers...

  • Chapter Eight - The Owl's Tale

      Tuxedo Kamen has been thrown into the Pit, a gladiatorial arena where criminals, rebels, and other malcontents must fight for their own survival for the amusement of the Dark Kingdom elite. To make things worse, a special field makes it impossible for Mamoru to transform! Confronted after a match, he learns that the Pit fighters are in fact remnants of a youma rebellion formed nearly one thousand years ago, and led by none other than the Owl! He agrees to join their cause, on one condition : he gets to settle his score with Jadeite...

  • Chapter Nine - Suiko's Bloody Fate

      The Inner Senshi's evil doubles, the Storm Senshi, are sent to destroy their originals, and with Nise Suiko leading them, they may just succeed despite the Samurai Troopers' interference! Making matters worse, a strange connection has made it so that to injure a Storm Senshi causes damage to the original Senshi as well! When Shin Mouri faces Nise Suiko once more, one thing is certain : only one Suiko shall walk away alive...

  • Chapter Ten - Masquerade

      With time growing short, and their leader in danger, the Inner Senshi hatch a desperaste plot to rescue Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen. Now, lead by a disguised Shin Mouri, and posing as their own clones, they must infiltrate Jadeite's castle and free their friends! But, when their roles begin to get a trifle too personal for their tastes, can the Senshi play through to the bitter end, or will this truly be their final performance?

  • Chapter Eleven - The Owl Unmasked

      The day of liberation has come for the denizens of the Pit! But, before the day is done, Mamoru Chiba must battle one final match against two rabid youma and Korran, the son of Queen Beryl! The Owl appears, and engages Korran in a viscious sword duel that ends in tragedy for all as he is finally unmasked, and the Dark Kingdom Rebellion begins anew...

  • Chapter Twelve - Check And Mates

      The Samurai Troopers and Sailor Senshi arrive in the Dark Kingdom and are reunited once more : just in time to battle their way through an entire army of Jadeite's youma! The Storm Senshi, meanwhile, break free from their captors, and go hunting for the heads of their originals, and Mamoru has a serious score with Jadeite that has gone unsettled for far too long. Sailor Pluto and the Owl confront Wiseman, and the son of Beryl recieves some timely advice from a certain red-haired monk, as the Inner Battles reach their final crescendo...
