Once again the attack of the killer APP., Sonic, has arrived, and he delivers solidly, and does his job, with a little help from Team Sonic of course...
Most of the time you will find yourself holding forward on the analog stick watching in awe of Sonic Adventure's pure speed. Sometimes this is a little frusterating becuase of the lack of control at some points in the game's levels, but it sure is hell fun! Watching this game's visuals is fun enough for this package.
As for this game's depth there is certainly enough to do. From raising a Chaos, to playing many fun mini games, you will be playing for a long time. You are also required to beat the levels with multiple characters, each with their own talents and objectives.
Sound is excellently done in this game. Everything from the background music to the old school sound effects. (gathering rings) The only flaw here is the voice acting...it's horrid! But the fun thing is to turn on the Japanese Subtitles! Try it, its alot better than the English!
Overall this is the game Sega was hoping for. Taking Sonic, and throwing him into a 3D world isn't exactly the easiest task! But the Sonic Team did well with this one. A great adventure for your Dreamcast.
