Directions:-

1. Take JR Yamanote line to Ebisu station. (Just one station away from Shibuya, where French Iron Chef's restruant is)

2. Have a look at the map near train station. In Japan, there are not much street name or street number. It is all separated in to "Chome". From the address above, 1 means 1-chome, 23 is the 'blcok' number, then 22 is the location of the block (almost like the street number). Have a look at this map inside the train station you will see the the chome.

3. Now, look for the East Exit.

4. Go down the stairs, and look around. Go down the slope (see the black building on the left, follow that road).

5. About 50 meter you should now reached the intersection. Take the crossing on your left, walk toward Fuji Bank, and go stright.

6. Keep walking along the main road. You should pass block 20 to block 22. And you will see the signs on the pole. (Yes, the day I look for the place is a rainy day...)

7. Keep walking, you will see a restaurant Zest, another picture.

8. When you see the Ohwa Building, you are almost there.....

9. At the corner, turn LEFT.

10. Notice there is a "blue wall", there it is.

My Visit (10 Oct, 2000 14:00)

When I arrive, at first Kobe was telling me the Lunch time is over. But after I explain to him I am visiting the Italian Iron Chef, Kobe was surprise to see an Iron Chef Fan come all the way from Canada to visit him. My stay there was very short (compare to my other two visit), maybe Kobe-san was a little bit shy, and he did not speak much. His restaurant is small, but I like the design. Too bad I did not have a chance to try out his dishes. I suggest readers to call ahead to make reservation before going.
