The band HIM is a band in Finland that was formed in 1995 and with their first cd out in 1997 Greatest Love Songs Vol 666 there were climbing to the top. In 1999/2000 Razorblade Romance was release with hit songs "JOIN ME" and "RIGHT HERE IN MY ARMS" They sold over 2 million copies. In 2001 Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights, which not only was amazing but also touching with Ville Valo(singer) deep touching lyrics of love, trust and romance. Also Valo's voice is what Jay & Ian love about the band the most, the deep touching voice of Valo is what i like about HIM- Ian. In 2003 Love Metal was released. Their most touching cd yet. It sure is to swell the ranks of the converted as this is their most polished, best written album yet. Ville Valo is one of the most compelling figures in Rock today and his vocals just get better with each successive release. This album could ultimately turn out to be their finest moment, however, judging from the past progression, there is probably a lot more to come. Says alot of fans. The bands one of the best rock bands to come from Finalnd and could beat any pussy ass american band any day.
