Dunnet
So this is the official web site for the band Dunnet.The band consists of three members, Ryan on Guitar/Vocals,
Clint on Bass/Vocals and Jere on Drums.They play punk,or as punk as they can manifest.They all met one way or another
through one man,that man Dale,our manager. Ryan and Jere had a band previous to Dunnet.Then when that band broke up Ryan
and Jere started to just create their own stuff and Ryan would make the bass parts as well as the guitar. Then they
decided they needed a bassist, so they went to the nearest bass guitairst store and got one. Then it died cuz they
didnt feed it,so then they met Clint and Dunnet was made.
The bands influences come from a WIDE range of musical styles, from jazz and swing to hardcore to metal. The
genre that has the most impact is definitly emo+scremo+post-hardcore music. And this is very much apparent in the lyrics and
the music that Dunnet makes.
They all grew up basically in the same part of town. Well except Clint, he grew up in the states,then
moved here 4 years ago. Clint and Ryan went to school at Holy Trinity Catholic High School,and Jere went to Bell Public
School.Now Clint goes to school at Fanshawe College in London, Ryan goes to school in Ottawa at Carleton, and Jere goes to
Algonquin College also in Ottawa.
