This picture was taken in front of the Wailua canyon - the Grand Canyon of the Pacific on the island of Kauai. The cliff
behind the pictures was over 500m STRAIGHT down. Helicopters come into the valley below and are so small that you can hardly
see them! Behind us in the picture is Mount Wailaeli - the wetist place on earth. Over 400 inches of rain a year.
From Left to right: Kenton, Christy, Sandra and moi. Missing is our youngest, Tracey - she went surfing instead.

Above and below are pictures of the Star Clipper. We sailed around the Caribbean last summer (August 2000) and played pirates.
Actually it was the most exhiliarating vacation I have ever taken.

The water in the Caribbean is so clear you can see the bottom fish swimming 60 feet below. SCUBA diving in this water is
amazing. At 65 feet I was only wearing a t-shirt and a bathing suit and I was never cold. We swam with a school of sharks
and even some very large manta rays.

The Enver Creek Cricket Club won
the 2004 Premiers Division of the City Championship, 88-86 and 1 wicket over Princess Margaret.

July 2005 - Haidagwaii (Queen Charlotte Is.) Skidigate City Days. Went to the tribal grounds and rowed the very sacred cedar
canoe (Hotoi) back to the town. Very respectful people.

This is a picture from our shuttle from the Star Clipper. Grenada is the "spice island" and is correctly named.
The island has the air of spices in the air. We traversed the island and went shopping in the oldest town in the region.
Very crowded and very noisey.

This is the Canadian Massed Pipes & Drums in Braemar, Scotland, September 2, 2001. I had the honour of carrying the Canadian
flag in the colour party. The Queen, Prince William, and Prince Andrew were present.
