Episode 1 - No Need For A Formula

Edd was working with his chemistry set in his garage. He was trying to make a way to make people like him. He worked all day and all night, trying to find a solution. Why is he doing this? Well, it all started one day . . .
"Hey dorks!" Kevin called out to the Eds, pointing at a football, "Hand it over!" Eddy was really mad. "‘Hand it over’ yourself Kevin!" Eddy yelled back. Kevin got angry at Eddy’s response, and jumped on Eddy, and they started a fight. Kevin took his football back, and he yelled, "Dorks!" at the Eds, and he ran off.
When Eddy got up, he was so furious at Kevin. "I’ve had it!" Eddy yelled. Ed and Edd were confused. "Had what?" Ed asked. "Ed, don‘t you mean, ‘Had it with what?’" Edd corrected, then he asked Eddy, "And while we‘re at it, Eddy, what did that you mean?" Eddy didn’t know why. He just started to stomp his way back home. Ed and Edd followed, not by stomping. Ed was stomping though, trying to imitate Eddy. "Look Double D," Ed said, "I can be Eddy! I practiced." Ed and Edd soon went to Eddy’s house.
When they were at Eddy’s house, Ed turned the doorknob. "Uh, Double D?" Ed asked, "The doorknob is stuck." "Allow me Ed," Edd said, and he walked up to the door. Instead of trying the doorknob, Edd tried knocking. "Eddy," Edd said, "Are you in there?" Eddy didn’t want to answer. The only thing he said was, "Nobody home!" Edd wanted too correct his grammar, but he let it go anyway. "Eddy," Edd continued, "What’s wrong?" Eddy couldn’t take it. He just wanted to be alone, but Ed and Edd just won’t leave him alone. Eddy did the next thing he could think of. Eddy opened the door, and he pulled Ed and Edd in.
Eddy told them why he was upset. Ed and Edd didn’t get it. "Don’t you guys see it?" Eddy yelled out. "But Eddy," Edd said, "Why?" "I’m surprised at you Double D," Eddy said innocently and as calmly as he can, and then he yelled out at Edd, "What do you think Double D?!" Edd was amazed at Eddy, but he didn’t answer. Instead of yelling at Ed and Edd, Eddy tried to explain to them, again, "The reason why I’m upset is because Kevin keeps calling us ‘dorks.’" "So," Ed said. "‘So,’" Eddy continued, "Aren’t you guys tired of other kids bossing you around and calling you names?" Edd thought about that for a moment. He thought of the people who Eddy described: Sarah and Kevin were his main concern. Then he smirked and nearly laughed because he thought how Eddy "bossed" him around. And then suddenly, he thought of the Kankers, especially Marie for him. "Yuch!" Edd thought, with his tongue out in disgust. Ed thought of the same thing, only he didn’t take it as seriously as Edd and Eddy took it. "I can see how exasperated you are Eddy," Edd agreed to Eddy. "Can you solve our problem Double D?" Eddy pleaded, making a puppy dog face. "Alright Eddy," Edd said, then he added, "‘If’ you would try to brush up on your proper English grammar." "Alright already, geez," Eddy said. "Quickly," Edd said dramatically as he can to Ed and Eddy, "To my garage!"
In Edd’s garage, Edd became his secretive self, and he didn’t allow Ed and Eddy in. "What’s up with Double D?" Eddy asked. "Um," Ed started, "He’s in the garage Eddy." "Why did I even bother?" Eddy asked himself. "Because you, um . . ." Ed said then thought of some way to continue, then he said the first word that came to his mind, "Hello!"
Meanwhile, in Edd’s garage, Edd was working with his chemistry set. "Hmm," Edd said to himself, "Maybe a little of this." Edd added a chemical in one of his biggest beakers. "And a little of this," Edd continued. He poured a different solution in the beaker. Edd then got his chemistry and biology book. He looked how he could make a formula that would work. "I’ve got it!" Edd shouted, but it was still too faint for Ed and Eddy to hear. He continued to work back on his "duty."
He worked for a long time, but it wasn’t easy for him. Ed and Eddy kept bugging him. They tried to get in his garage by digging a hole under his garage, which Edd patched up, Ed and Eddy tried to look through his window, and Edd had to pull down the shades, and Ed and Eddy tried opening his garage door, which didn’t work, because Edd locked it before he went to work. Edd gave a small bit of laughter and said, "I’m brilliant!" Edd patted his back too. He then continued to work on his formula.
When Edd was "finally" done, he went out of his garage. He noticed that Eddy looked tired by boredom. "Well guys," Edd started to make a short "speech," "With distractions and all, it’s complete. After all what you guys were doing." "Really?" Eddy said suddenly with excitement, "It’s done?" "Why, yes. It is," Edd said, starting to feel the excitement. "Cool Double D," Ed said. Ed and Eddy were amazed at Edd’s invention. What Edd had was a drink like substance. "Just drink this and we’ll be the most popular and the most conspicuous kids in the entire cul-de-sac," Edd instructed, "But," Edd pre-cautioned them, "You shouldn’t drink too much of it. If you do, drastic measures may occur!" "I thought you didn’t know what that word meant," Eddy informed. "Well Eddy," Edd said, "I looked it up." Edd told them what to do. "Remember Eddy," Edd warned him once more, "Don’t overuse it. It still isn’t properly tested yet." "Whatever," Eddy said.
The next day, Edd had forgotten the reason why Eddy wanted the formula. Eddy became really mad when Edd asked him, again. "Okay Double D," Eddy started, "The top point is, ‘Aren’t you tired of people bossing you around and calling you names?!" Edd became embarrassed by what Eddy yelled at him. "For shame Double D," Ed said. "Okay Eddy," Edd said back, "I get it already!" "Slow down Double D," Eddy said, then he spoke his usual scamy way, "Okay, people, let’s go." "Go where?" Ed asked. "Just come on Ed," Eddy said. "Just come on Double D," Ed said to Edd. Edd just sighed and followed the two.
The Eds went to Eddy‘s house. "What are we going to do now?" Edd asked. "‘What are we going to do?’" Eddy imitated, "What we are going to do is to make everyone like us." "How are we going to do that Eddy?" Ed asked. "You’ll see real soon Ed," Eddy said. "I think I should find first aid kit," Edd said to himself. "Why?" Ed asked. "For safety Ed," Edd answered, "What were thinking it was for?" "Um," Ed said, "for protection?" "That can be a reason," Edd thought. Ed and Edd soon followed Eddy to see what they would do next.
