Eddchi Muyo!
Episode 7 - No Need An Antidote
by: Double T

Edd’s formula drink finally works on the kids of their cul-de-sac. The Eds are treated like kings of Peach Creek. They become more carefree, especially Edd for the first time! But not far from them are the Kankers. The Kankers hide while they think up a plan to get their "boyfriends" . . .

"Got it girls?" Lee asked, after they talked about their strategy. May and Marie agreed. They cautiously and quietly walked up to the Eds. Edd and Eddy were taking a nap. Ed was busy playing with Sarah and Jimmy nearby, not knowing what was happening. The Kankers continued to sneak up on the other 2 Eds. Edd was starting to wake up and he slowly opened his eyes. He saw the Kankers coming! "Ed-d-d-d-ddy-y-y?" Edd said, nervously and shaky. The Kankers continued to walk to them, despite Edd’s conduct. Eddy got annoyed by what Edd was saying. "This isn’t the time for bird calls Double D!" Eddy said, having his eyes closed. Eddy then put on his sunglasses. The Kankers came closer and Edd kept getting Eddy up. "EDDY!!!" Edd yelled out. "What Double D?!" Eddy asked, lifting his sunglasses.

Eddy then found out why Edd was acting weird. Eddy screamed and the 2 Eds grabbed Ed and they ran to Edd’s house, and they locked the door. To make sure that the Kankers are locked out for sure, they leaned on the door. The Kankers banged on the oor, and looked at the window to see where the Eds went to. "Quickly," Edd whispered, "Follow me." "Where are we going Double D?" Eddy whispered. "To my garage Eddy," Edd answered. "But Double D," Ed said, "What about the Kankers?" Edd thought, then he knew what to do. "Do what I do," Edd said. Edd walked along the wall as low as he can, making sure that the Kankers can’t see him. Ed and Eddy did the same thing.

Finally the Eds were safely in Edd’s garage, where they knew where they’d be safe, because of Ed and Eddy’s behavior when Edd was first making the formula drink. "Eddy," Edd said, "The Kankers wouldn‘t be like this if you hadn‘t tricked them for the drink in the first place! Just look at it Eddy. You didn‘t even get any money out of it." Eddy growled at what Edd had said about him. "Just do something Double D!" Eddy yelled, but quietly. Edd tried to think of someway to make the Kankers stop getting them.

"I got it!" Edd finally said after a few moments of thought, "I’ll just make another formula that is opposite of what we have now, which will force the Kankers to a temporary state of abhorrence to us, and then, they’ll soon lose their best interest in us." "Say what Double D?" Eddy asked, looking at Edd as if he wasn’t from Earth. "Um," Edd said, trying to explain it simple to Eddy, "I’ll make an antidote to make the Kankers hate us. But I’m afraid I can’t make one permanent, it’s only possible for me to make a temporary one though." "Whatever Double D!" Eddy said, "Just do what you can do! As long as those Kankers stop!" Edd started to work on the antidote, this time letting Ed and Eddy stay, in case the Kankers got in his house, in which Edd hoped wouldn’t happen. "Eddy?" Ed asked, "What’s an ant-i-dote?" "Go ask Double D, Ed," Eddy said. "Ask what?" Ed asked.

Edd continued to work on the antidote for about a few hours. "I think I’ve done it!" Edd said excitedly, holding up another bottle of a solution. Ed and Eddy finally aroused from their boredom. "Is it really done Double D?" Eddy asked. "Why," Edd said, "Yes it is Eddy." Eddy then snatched the antidote from Edd’s hands. "Give it to me Double D!" Eddy said. Ed thought of the bottle in a different way. "Hmm," Ed said, looking at the bottle with a thirsty feeling, "Soda!" Ed was about to grab the antidote, but Edd stopped him. "No Ed!" Edd warned, "This is only suitable for people who drank the antidote, not like us." Ed thought for a while. "But why Double D?" Ed asked. Edd sighed and said, "Because Ed, we did not drink our first drink, so, we can’t drink this one." "Oh," Ed said. "Come on guys!" Eddy said, breaking up what Ed and Edd were talking about, "Let’s just give this drink to the Kankers, and get it done and over with!" The Eds soon snuck back in the house.

The Eds searched and found the Kankers in Edd’s room. The Eds didn’t make a noise, but Edd was in rage and worry. The Kankers were messing around in Edd’s room. Edd nearly ran out, but Eddy pulled him back. "Don’t Double D!" Eddy whispered, making sure that the Kankers can’t here them. "But Eddy," Edd whispered, "Look! They’re fiddling with my personalized items!" Edd was getting out of his self-control. Eddy tried to think quick. He grabbed the 3 nearest bottles of the antidote, and rolled it to the Kankers. Lee found the drink, and she looked at it carefully. "Hey girls!" Lee shouted. May and Marie, who were having a pillow fight with Edd’s pillows which Edd hated. Lee held up one of the bottles. "Drinks!" Lee said. "Wow!" Marie said. "Get me one Lee!" May said, holding out her hands. Lee tossed her sisters the bottles, and they drank, not realizing that they have been tricked by Edd’s homemade antidote.

It only took a few moments until the antidote worked. They seemed to lose their interest in the Eds. They mostly became like Kevin. "Yuck," Marie said in disgust, "Why are we in that . . . dorky Double D’s room?!" "Come on," Lee said, waving her hand and heading out the door, "Let’s get out of here." The Kankers passed the Eds, who were out the door, without even noticing them. They just went out the front door, and left.

Eddy was happy once again. "Tell me!" Eddy said, full of excitement, "A-am I drooling?" Ed and Edd were also happy. "I can’t even believe that this ‘scam’ actually worked, Eddy," Edd said. Eddy had future thoughts. "I can see it all now," Eddy said to himself, ignoring everything, "The Eds are in a pool of money, and everyday, we’d buy about 5 or 10 jawbreakers a day!" Edd soon broke his thoughts. "Um, Eddy," Edd began, "The antidote I made was only temporary. In about a few days, it will soon wear off." "Say what?!" Eddy said, putting his anger on Edd. "Um," Edd stammered, being cautious of what he’s saying, "The . . . ant . . . antidote is only for . . . for a sh . . . short time . . . only." Edd looked a bit scared after what he said, and hoped that Eddy wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. "What will be a short time, Double D?" Edd sighed, and said once again, "The antidote Ed." "Oh," Ed said, "Mum’s the word!" Eddy, trying not to get upset, just thought how he’s going to do next. "But Eddy," Edd said, "We do have to get rid of the previous drinks we’ve made, and give the antidote to the other kids in the cul-de-sac." "Yeah right!" Eddy said, full of disbelief, "Why?" "Well, Eddy," Edd continued, "It’s because, it will only be fair." Eddy didn’t believe that answer. "That’s not a good answer Double D!" Eddy said. "And also that the drink won’t last very long either," Edd said, believing that this answer was better, "When the antidote wears off, then the drink we made before will also wear off." Eddy then became upset. "But," Edd said, trying to give a positive answer, "Those who don’t wear off the drink when the antidote wears off, are really meant for us." "Who are going to be those Double D?" Eddy asked. "Who?" Ed asked. "I don’t know Eddy," Edd said.
