Episode 9 - No Need Reality

The Eds were figuring out a way to make everyone not to like them so much. Mostly to make everyone back to normal. After Ed builds a stand, Eddy gets an idea in his mind on how to sell the antidote that Edd has made. Edd tries to sell them to the kids in the cul-de-sac, and everyone pays not only 25 cents or 50 cents, but $1.00 worth! The kids drink the antidote, and went back to their usual ways as they were before. Now with the Eds happy with money, they didn’t realize that they forgot something, and, there came something, that would change everything . . .
"Come on boys," Eddy said pleasing, holding his money in his hand, "Let’s go and buy ourselves some jawbreakers!" Ed was so happy. "Jawbreakers?" Ed said joyfully, and ran up ahead. "Ed!" Eddy called out, and ran after Ed, "Wait for us!" Edd, who was behind, sighed. "I might as well go along," Edd said, and walked on his way. Ed and Eddy were already half-way to the candy store. "Anyway," Edd continued, talking to himself, "Our ‘scam’ did work out in a long time."
Ed and Eddy were finally at the candy store. "I just can’t figure out which flavor to choose!" Eddy said, full of delight. Ed hugged the glass jar that held the jawbreakers. "Jawbreakers good for Ed!" Ed said, and reached his hand in to get some jawbreakers. "Um, Eddy?" Ed asked. "What?" Eddy said. "Um," Ed thought, "How many jawbreakers do we need?" Eddy sighed, "Three, Ed." "Okay," Ed said, and grabbed the jawbreakers.
Edd finally came to the candy store. "What took you?" Eddy asked Edd. "You two ran ahead of me, Eddy," Edd answered. "Whatever," Eddy said, then turned to Ed, "Did you get those jawbreakers yet Ed?" "Almost Eddy," Ed answered, trying to get another jawbreaker to make the total of three. Eddy went to Edd, for the money. "Got the money Double D?" Eddy asked. Edd reached into his pocket, and grabbed out some coins. "Here they are Eddy," Ed said, holding up the jawbreakers. Eddy was amazed by the site of the jawbreakers. "Go ahead and pay Double D," Eddy said, keeping his eye on the jawbreakers, "I’ll go see that . . . um . . . Ed doesn’t drop any of the jawbreakers." Edd walked up to the cashier and paid. The Eds ate the jawbreakers in the store, and then left the store.
Outside, they met someone - a girl. Edd noticed her right away, and felt "funny." "S-she’s new," Edd said, pointing at her. Ed and Eddy looked at the girl Edd was pointing to. "Look Eddy," Ed said, noticing Edd’s face, "Double D’s face is all red." Edd was really blushing. Eddy had an idea.
"Well, Double D," Eddy said, "I don’t know. Why not introduce yourself to her?" Eddy pushed Edd to go meet the new girl. "Stop! No wait!" Edd said, refusing to take any steps, "I couldn’t Eddy! I don’t know what to say to her!" "Just say your name Double D," Eddy said, still pushing Edd to go, "What’s so hard about that?"
"Well, um," Edd stammered. Edd was now in front of the girl. "Hi," Edd said bashfully. The new girl giggled. "Hello," she said, still giggling quietly, "What’s your name?" "My name?" Edd asked, with mixed feelings in his mind. The girl nodded. "M-my name is ‘Edward,’" Edd answered, "But my friends call me, ‘Double D.’" "May I call you ‘Double D’?" the girl asked. "Sure," Edd said. "My name is ‘Cherri,’" answered the girl, "But you can call me, ‘Double R.’" "Okay," Edd said.
"Double D!" Eddy called out. "Oh," Edd said, remembering Ed and Eddy, "And these are my friends, Ed and Eddy." "Hi Ed and Eddy," Cherri said. "Hi," Ed and Eddy said. "Guys," Edd said to Ed and Eddy, "This is Cherri, and we can call her, ‘Double R.’" "Righty-O," Ed said, giving a thumbs-up. "Sure," Eddy agreed, also giving a thumbs-up.
"You guys like jawbreakers?" Cherri asked. The Eds all nodded. "Good," Cherri said, "Because I really like to eat jawbreakers." "There’s a candy store right over there," Eddy said, pointing to the direction of the store. "I know," Cherri said, "I was there earlier. I just went to this shop here to buy a few things." "Do you guys live in the cul-de-sac over there?" Cherri asked, pointing towards the cul-de-sac where the Eds live. The Eds nodded. "Why?" Ed asked. "I live there now," Cherri answered, "I just moved in today a few hours ago."
The Eds decided to walk back to the cul-de-sac with Cherri. On their way, they talked about themselves, and what they do everyday. They mostly laughed at the funniest things that they said. They soon started to talk about their latest scam, which Gloria took it hard to believe for a while. "Can Double D make something like that?" Cherri asked Ed and Eddy. "Yeah," Eddy answered, "Double D here thinks that he’s a genius." Cherri smiled at Edd. Edd smiled back. Ed and Eddy snickered a bit. "I think she likes you Double D," Ed said to Edd. Edd blushed. "D-do you really think so?" Edd asked. Eddy jumped in the conversation. "Of course she does Double D," Eddy said, "Didn’t you see how she smiled?" Edd blushed even more.
When they went to the cul-de-sac, it was a bit late. The Eds walked Cherri to her house. "Good-night guys," Cherri said, and winked at Edd. "See you tomorrow Double R," Eddy said. "Good day," Ed said. "Sweet dreams Double R," Edd shyly said, waving his hand a little. "I know I will," Cherri said, and blew him a kiss good night. When she went in, Edd fainted. Ed and Eddy then carried and brought him to his house.
