Performa 400 is a Classic II; Performa 500 is a Color Classic.The SE30 is 40% faster than the Classic Systems, because the Mac SE30 is a 32bit system while the Classic Systems were 16bit. Although, the Classic System had Audio Input, which the SE30 didn't.
