Lair of the Unidragon, Page Seventeen

"Look, gentlemen," you say in your most concilatory tone of voice, "perhaps we can...work something out...?" You duck as Rober's mace slices through the air, then pull out a small drawstring pouch from within your clothing and hold it up enticingly.
Just as you thought, the instant Kendryc catches sight of the bag he grabs Roger's arm to stop him from attacking again.
"You wish to bargain, flea?" smarms Kendryc.
"If you spare me, you can have all this." You wave the sack in their faces.
Kendryc laughs. "Well, what's a little extortion between friends?" as you hand him the sack. You walk at a slow, normal pace just long enough to get out of the range of Human sight, then cut and RUN.
You only wish you could safely be there to see the looks on their faces when they discover the sack is full of trail mix.
