Lair of the Unidragon, Page Eighteen

This trip was getting rather dull, you think. A little fight might be just the thing. You duck under Roger's unbelievably slow mace-swing and hamstring him with your sword.
Roger bellows in pain and rage and straightens up, which is exactly what you wanted him to do. You slam your horned shield into his chest. He gurgles as the metal spike penetrates his ribcage, and falls on his face as you yank your shield off and step to the side. Incompetent.
Kendryc smiles arrogantly and pulls out a sword, which you calmly knock out of his hand--and the hand with it--before he can get in a single swing. You grin as you realise that Kendryc is not really all that much smarter than his brother--he just THINKS he is.
Kendryc stares at you with his mouth gaping open, then in desperation throws a dagger at you. He misses by a mile, and you wallop off his head.
Hmmmn, you think to yourself, examining the dagger. Nice quality. You take the dagger and sheath, wipe your sword off on the grass, and continue.
