Lair of the Unidragon, Page Five

Swallowing back the bile that rises in your throat, you touch the pool's slimy surface. You dip your hands in and drink, hesitantly at first, then greedily as your survival instinct kicks in full force. It tastes odd, but you fill your canteen and continue on.
An hour later, you begin to feel dizzy. At first you think it's just the heat, but soon you realise what has happened, as violent convulsions wrack your scrawny form.
That water was contaminated.
