Sonic Adventure (1998 Japan/1999 U.S.)

(Thanks to Mufasa's Amy Rose site for the pic of Amy on this page. Thanks to NetRaptor for the one of Sonic on the roller coaster, and the other SA screenshots scattered around this site.)

(Now Playing: "Twinkle Circuit" from Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast.)

Blue is BACK and he's brought some friends! This game was hoped to be not only Sonic's comeback, but also that of SEGA itself, and if you ask me they pulled it off in STYLE. Released in December 1998 in Japan and on the famous "9/9/99" in the United States, Sonic Adventure is one heck of a game. I've played the whole thing through--all seven characters, from Emerald Coast to the showdown with Perfect Chaos, and let me tell you, the music KICKS TAIL!! This is seriously the very best video game soundtrack I have ever heard in my LIFE; I'd rather listen to this than most stuff on the radio. And that's saying something, since most of the time I view video game music as something moderately cute to pass the time with while playing but not something to actually LISTEN to, seperately. Yet I find myself singing along with the words to Sonic's theme song when I need to pep myself up for a task I don't like, or strutting down the street to the tune of Final Egg, Type One. Forget Sonic MegaCD or the Saturn version of 3D Blast, THIS is my idea of music! Not to mention the game itself has an actual PLOT and tells us more about what happened to the echidnas, finally...droooooll....
This is a small page for now but look for it to be almost constantly growing; I have a quest to find and obtain AS MANY SONIC ADVENTURE MIDIS AS POSSIBLE!! It's like my version of Pokémon, I guess: Gotta upload 'em all! ;) The reason I'm so obsessed is probably a combination of the SA music being so excellent, and the midis so rare and hard to find! There have been MP3 and RealAudio files--far too big to store more than just a few of on a free website--from the beginning, but the midi-fying of Sonic Adventure is a long, painful process that's still underway.
I am ESPECIALLY looking for the following: Any character theme, Red Mountain, Lost World, Final Egg, Sand Hill, and Casinopolis, but I will take ANY midi you can give me, provided it's the theme of a zone or character that I don't already have. No remixes, please, I only want files that sound like the actual game's tunes.
If you know of a Sonic Adventure midi that I do not have listed here, PLEASE E-MAIL ME about where I can find it, or better yet, send the midi itself into my mailbox as an attachment on your letter! If you do, I'll give you credit on the page as the "finder". Note: The Zones are listed here by alphabetical order, rather than when you play them, simply because different characters go through the levels in different orders and don't visit some at all, so, this is just the simplest way to organise things.
