Sonic 2 (1992)
(Now Playing: Credits Medley from Sonic 2 for Genesis.)
This game marks the first appearance of everybody's favourite little cutey and possible kitsune, Miles "Tails" Prower, SuperSonic, SilverSonic, the Spin Dash, the Death Egg, the "Tornado", Scratch and Grounder, and some of the BEST tunes I've ever heard in a video game, period! Sure, the stuff in Sonic Adventure overshadows it in terms of technology and realism, but I still just have ta rock out whenever I hear Metropolis, Mystic Cave, Oil Ocean, or Chemical Plant...

music-loving Mobians and Floating Islanders have been here since November 14, 1999. Of course, they all got sliced to ribbons by Silver Sonic's rotary-blade spines, but hey...
