Sonic the Hedgehog (Mega)CD (1993)
(Now Playing: Wacky Workbench, Bad Future (American Version) from Sonic CD for Sega CD.)
"Let's Do the Time Warp Agaaaaaiiinnn!"
Sonic CD is...well...DIFFERENT. Another game that I am very interested in but have not, unfortunately, had the honour of experiencing for myself, Sonic CD is a "prequel" to Sonic 1 and therefore has similar graphics and sprites, lacks Tails and the Spin-Dash...but DOES have two new characters: Amy Rose and MechaSonic, as well as an interesting plot and some awesome time-travel. Amy and time-travel (in a way) are seen again in Sonic Adventure; but this was Mecha's finest moment if you don't count the Sonic anime. This game has a very anime-ish feel to its opening and ending sequences too; in fact, they were drawn by the same people who did "Journey to Eggmanland" three years later. Anyway, Sonic CD sees our true blue hero racing against time, traps, and an evil metallic duplicate of himself to save the Little Planet, Amy Rose, and Mobius itself! If you do certain things in the Past and/or Present parts of each level, you get to see a Good Future or a Bad Future--quite frankly, the MAIN reason I wanna play it! And yes, the name of the little pink hedgehog is AMY, _not_ Sally, despite what the original messed-up version of the American instruction booklet would like you to think...
NOTE: I've had a bit of trouble trying to keep straight exactly what tune is from the Japanese version and what's American, and which tunes show up in BOTH, so both versions will be in the same block, rather than in seperate categories the way I usually do.

have been here since November 14, 1999. Of course, they all disappeared through a time warp, but hey...
