Name: Johnny Armstrong AKA Superpatriot
Equipment: interchangeable arms (one pair of guns, one pair of robot arms) Description: Well, he's basically how he looks in the comic, yellow shirt, robot arms and legs, flag face, and the pony tail is rooted hair. Also, McFarlane Toys decided to add on a little "S" on his chest, just cuz they felt like it. *NOTE: The picture shown is a prototype. There are no known existing Superpatriots with the Covenant of the Sword logo on him. My thoughts: This is one bad ass Superpatriot. He has a good stance, and looks very dynamic when tilted a little to the left or right, so as to make him looking over his shoulder a bit. The interchangeable arms are pretty neat too, and you can put it so one arm is a gun, and the other is regular. Overall a great toy. Too bad it's the only one McFarlane Toys has made, and they put that goofy looking "S" on his chest. Rating: 9 out of 10 |
So what the hell is the difference? His
silver robot limbs are now tinted as a metallic blue. Also, his chest
color is now all blue with a few stars thrown on for good measure.
He looks like how he was when he first started out for the SOS.
My thoughts: Same as the first, but this time, no "S"!!! This is the ideal Superpatriot figure, the original could've been a 10 if not for the "S". Rating: 10 out of 10 |
His real name is Johnny Armstrong; an American who was captured by the
Nazi's who used his body in thier experiments to create the ultimate super
soldier. Their experiment went drastically wrong when Johnny became
Superpatriot and busted loosed from their capture. Fighting crime
since the 1940's, Superpatriot was a regular super hero until just recently
when he was destroyed by Savage Dragon's foes, the Vicious Circle.
Rebuilt to become the ultimate fighting machine, Superpatriot now has the
ability to transform his limbs into various weapons.
