II. Like Paul, we can be eager to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth - Rom. 1:6-15; Acts 1:7-8; Rom. 15:18-20; Mt. 24:14
III. Like Paul, we can take pride in the gospel as God's means for receiving
His righteousness

01/31/2000 "Commandment, Commission,
Commitment" - Dr. John Ong
Introduction: As Christians, we must know what our ultimate ambition in lives are........
I. The Greatest Commandment (Mt. 22:37-40)
Jesus' command to love God is directed to the will rather than the emotion. It means to esteem God, to regard Him above all else, to give Him unchallenged first place, and to give His claims unquestioned priority.
II. The Great Commission (Mt. 28:18-20)
We must confess God has authoritatively commanded us to take up the missionary task. Christians should witness with the goal of winning persons to Christ and lead them into a continuing growth in discipleship. The witness must not be limited to our familiar cultural circle.
III. The Parallelism between the Greatest Commandment and the Great Commission
Conclusion: Your Commitment
