The 'Basuritas and Monsters' set was re-released throughout Argentina twice in 2001, with the stickers manufactured by the Industria Argentina company. One set contains the 'MONSTERS' stickers with a tie-dye affect, the second and cheaper re-produced set has the 'MONSTERS' stickers with a solid red background, both very different than the sharp, solid yellow background in the original 2000 release. The set covers several cards of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th,  5th, 6th, and 8th U.S. series, not in any particular order plus some original artwork found in no other international release. The cards measure slightly smaller than 2 1/4 x 2 3/4 inches, roughly 50 x 68-70 mm, and are non-die cut stickers.

The Argentina Basuritas 189 sticker set is a direct reproduction of the Argentina 2000 set with a gloss finish, same red border, without any chase cards, and adding stickers 145-189 that were originally from the 1999 Chile Basuritas release and the 45 'Trading Cards' set from the 2000 release added as sticker images. The set is much duller and washed out, not as sharp as the Argentina 2000 set, and the red colors are over supersaturated. The Stickers come 4 to a pack and are printed on plain white paper stock.

1. The three new Card Characters found in the Argentina set that are and not found in the 1999 Chile Basuritas set are cards #106 NARCISO Focado, #107 IGOR Dinflon and #108 MARY Quita. These are also found within the original Argentina 2000 release.

2. As with the 1999 Chile Basuritas card #71 MARTIN P. Gado, the Argentina card #75 MARTIN P.Gado, for U.S. cards 322A K.O.'d KARL and 322B Sparrin' WARREN, has a purple, Discolored Error, much like the German Die Total Kaputten Kids card #100 NORBERT Nahtzig.

3. The only GPK set, along with the original, with a complete Red Border around the card, not including the Italy Sgorbions 3 subset.

Artwork for the 2-Card Puzzle for cards #1 and #2 is the same artwork found on the wrapper pack, sticker album, and card-box; the artist for the original artwork is unknown. The first original artwork used for a puzzle, same with the 1999 Chile and 2000 Argentina sets.

5. The Set Contains 'WANTED' stickers, titled 'BUSCADO', and numbering from 109-126, along with 'MONSTER' stickers, numbering from 127-144, with a tie-dye background, that the 1999 Chile set does not contain; whereas the 2000 Argentina set contained a solid yellow background. A second release of this set contained the 'MONSTER' stickers with a solid red background; a cheaper production with a dull appearance.

6. The release contains no Chase Cards as the 1999 Chile and 2000 Argentina sets, but contains 45 additional stickers within the set which were taken from the 1999 Chile set and all 45 'Trading Cards' of the 2000 Argentina set numbering 145-189.

7. The set uses various card character artwork from the 1st, 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th U.S. releases. Plus, there are thirty-two Original Artwork pieces, much like the Italy Sgorbions 3rd Series and Legend release, that number from 16-18, 21-36, 38-48, and #50 within the set, plus the eighteen 'MONSTER' characters.

8. The set contains a U.S. card character with several Edited Additions and deletions. Compared to U.S. cards 309A Heartless HAL and 309B BOWEN Arrow, the artwork for card #37 ANDRES Cupido, has the arrow into the heart and angel wings removed and replaced with bat wings, demon fangs and a puff of air. The same for the 1999 Chile card #144 ANDRES Cupido and for the original 2000 Argentina card.

9. The set contains a U.S. card character with several Edited Deletions and additions. Compared to U.S. cards 293A Explorin' NORMAN and 293B Drillin' DYLAN, the artwork for card #57 RICOME Mocos has the pointer finger with booger and skin bits coming out the top of the head removed and a rounded cranium top added. The same for the 1999 Chile card #150 RICOME Mocos and for the original 2000 Argentina card.

10. The sticker album Numbers are located on the front, lower right-hand corner of the cards, the same as the 2000 Argentina release; the 1999 Chile numbers are found on the backside of the stickers.

11. The only sticker Card Numbers that stay the same for both the 2000 + 2001 Argentina releases and the 1999 Chile set are for cards #1 (puzzle), #2 (puzzle), #65, #91, and #94.
