Two
trademarks, for 'Garbage Pail Kids' and 'GPK', were filed on June
20 & September 04, 2024, respectively. Both elude to the same
indentification number 41 (international
class),
which is a catch-all for a variety of 'entertainment services', but
since it mentions 'television series', it's hopeful this might be
a prerequisite for the previously announced HBO/Tornante/Danny McBride
(& Josh Bycel) GPK cartoon in May of 2021. The production company
is Rough House Pictures, and would have been associated with MAX/HBO,
post merger, with animation being completed with an Australian animation
studio. A first episode draft, test animation, and voice-acting reel
was submitted for review in mid-2023, with no word about the projec
being greenlit, but co-developer David Gordon Green mentioned, in
October 2023, that the project was not dead yet. On September 19, 2024, Atomic Toybox took to social media with a picture of the GPK Hugh Turn character and mentioned, "We'd love your feedback" without any explanation, but also sent out a blast email that day titled, "Help Us Pick the new GPK Pins!". mid-2024, when the film rights would then go back to the original creators. Indican
may have entered a last-minute contract with Capelight pictures for a release
in the German and UK regions; but it is unknown why the GPK doc would be packaged

Although not a license through Topps for the GPK brand, Indican Pictures released a Blu-ray version of the 30 Years of Garbage GPK documentary on August 13, 2024 within the United States. frontside as an extra incentive that would appeal to both GPK sticker card collectors

ENGSTROM FINAL ARTWORK : CREATED MAR+APR 2024  On July 23, 2024, Greenlight Collectibles took to their social media channels to share additional images and information, stating, "Ready for San Diego Comic-Con? We are! Check out a close-up of our exclusive SDCC release: the 1:64 1969 Ford Bronco inspired by Garbage Pail Kids! Priced at $20, this unique collectible features the vibrant colors of the "Super Snotty" Garbage Pail Kid, brought to life by the talented Brent Engstrom (@brentaengstrom on IG). We’ve packed this edition with incredible attention to detail, from the packaging to the intricate paintwork. Be sure to visit us at Booth #834 to snag yours and chat with the team about the future of Greenlight Collectibles. We’d love to hear your ideas for upcoming models too!"  A variant vehicle does exist for the SDCC exclusive, a 'RAW' chase diecast. Roughly 4% of the production which equals 80 vehicles; the remaining 96% of production, and roughly 1944 vehicles, would therfore be the regular green version. Per Hobbytalk.com, "a RAW chase diecast refers to a special type of collectible diecast car that is produced in very limited quantities. These cars are often unpainted or have a raw metal finish, making them stand out from regular releases. They are highly sought after by collectors due to their rarity and unique appearance" Per Greenlight booth, extra vehicles would be sold after the show on eBay, but grey version had sold out.  
The image is a bit deceiving, size-wise, but GL handed out several different supersized 'GL Exclusive' employee cards at the 2024 SDCC between the dates of July 25 through July 28, a different 4x6 (4.5" x 6.25") jumbo card per day to collect. They handed out Unaware AARON on July 25, Aggravated ANGELA on July 26, Traffic Lady KATIE on July 27, and Tangled TIM on July 28. These cards apparently had a 100-card print run. Unverified, a second card was handed out on Sunday for Clutch CLINT that had a 40-card print run. All cards have a plain GL cardback, unlock their regular-sized brethren. All artwork by GPK artist JOE Simko, except #2 (ANGELA) by GPK artist BRENT Engstrom. Per GPK News, via GL, "We did 200 cards of each and we had 5 designs. All of the cards are GreenLight Exclusives designs based on GreenLight employees. These designs are completed by an official GPK artist for our "Garbage Pail Kids Series" line. Every GPK series that we make has 1 GPK sticker based on a Greenlight employee so the 5 cards that came out are from our "Garbage Pail Kid Series" 1-5. BOWMAN CHROME — GPK X MLB CASE HITS
Although not technically a GPK brand license with an outside source, Topps has used their MLB™ (Major League Baseball) license for a few GPK x MLB mashups over the past few years. These releases were mainly Topps Shop online sets from 2022, GPK x MLB Series 1 (by artist Keith Shore), from 2023, GPK x MLB Series 2 (by artist Alex Pardee), and from this year, 2024, GPK x MLB Series 3 (by artist David Gross); see the 'GPK Online Release' sections for more information. GPK artist DAVID Gross is back, creating another batch of caricature-style GPK characters for the 2024 Bowman Chrome release, but as ultra-rare case hits only. 
TOPPS SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS AD ON SEPTEMBER 03, 2024 Topps took to social media on September 03, 2024, to announce, "FIRST LOOK: Garbage Pail Kids x Bowman Chrome Baseball. Look for these ultra-rare case hits in hobby boxes of 2024 Bowman Chrome baseball. Each card comes in a base version, a Red /5 and a [Gold] 1/1 Superfractor. Releasing on 9/11/24!" I tend to call GPK that look like Garbage Pail Adults and look more human than CPK, Garbage Pail Karicatures. Caricature def'n: an image of a person in which certain striking characteristics are exaggerated in order to create a comedic effect. 
Per a Facebook post, by the artist, on September 3, 2024, Gross mentioned, "I worked on 24 Garbage Pail Kids cards in the new Bowman Baseball Chrome set coming out on the 11th. Featuring rookies and top minor league stars. The rookies will have the RC badge on them. They will be tough to get for sure as they will be one in every-other case, I think. NOTE: these are chrome cards. The pictures I post are just my mock ups I send to Topps so they are not chrome style. Here's one of the cards I painted: James Wood". Both Series 3 and and a potential Series 4 have been in development for quite some time. Noun. Music. Def'n: A musical texture or the style of simultaneously combining a number of parts, each forming an individual melody and harmonizing with each other. Per website: Founded in 2016 in Beijing, China, Polyphony (Fù diào) began as a single shop selling mostly Marvel and DC comics. In just a few years, we have become known as the premiere online and offline shops offering American comics and books in China. Polyphony has similarly become a top name for imported and original designer toys in China, and has begun serving shipping select items internationally. Comic | Music | Toy | Joy NOTE: MORE INFORMATION WITHIN THE GPK 2023 LICENSES PAGE  On August 12, 2024, I reached out to Polyphony's via their contact page on their website and enquired whether the GPK ADAM Bomb figure was still in development. Polyphony responded on August 13, 2024, and mentioned, "Yes! It's been a bit of a long and bumpy road, but we wanted to make this figure perfect. Our goal started out as making the best and most accurate Adam Bomb figure that has ever been done, and I hope that's what we have achieved. The prototype we showed a while back had a ton of hidden issues that a lot of customers might have missed or not cared too much about, but if it wasn't perfect we weren't going to release it. I'm happy to say that we are (finally) very, very close, have wrapped up all of the issues, and it 100% is coming soon. We have more plans for GPK coming up!" 
The ADAM Bomb figure should make it's premiere at next month's New York Comic Con. On September 25, 2024, Polyphony posted an image on their social media pages of twenty-two yellow and red neckties, stating, "See you in NYC?"; a visible hint of the upcoming GPK ADAM Bomb figure. September 29, 2024, Polyphony posted a GPK packaging sneak peek image to social media, simply stating, "Who’s Adam Bomb[?]" and on October 09, 2024, Polyphony posted a OS1 WRAPPER poster image, simply stating, "Say What[?]" NOTE: The box packaging for NYCC is apparently exclusive. 
An ADAM Bomb 'turntable weight' was also set out at the Tenacious Toys table (NYCC Booth 1771), where Polyphony had set up camp, as a 'Display Only' item; time will tell if eventually released. Per Polyphony, "The turntable weight will be coming very soon, this is the only prototype right now at the show. Final pricing not set yet, but I can assure you it will have typical polyphony great quality." Pics per GPK News... note the weight is sitting next to the 15" Maestro ADAM Bomb figure, as a size comparison. The 'SIDE P' may equal 'P' for 'prototype', and the 'INSERT HERE', for the center spindle placement on the turntable, is a nice shout out to the card's 'PEEL HERE' sticker.
