Lake Katherine Nature Preserve

I spend a lot of time at Lake Katherine Nature Preserve in Palos Heights, IL, often sharing stories with families at the Preserve's festival events ... I also tell stories around an evening campfire or two, or, when I am able, on their occasional evening hayride. I'm glad you asked that question!

At Winterfest '99, I tell an old Swedish folk tale ... about  a Fox, a 'fishing' trip, and Bear's lost tail.

We arranged our first 'concert' at Lake Katherine.  Mark played his banjo and sang; I told stories ... .
