Membership:

Any woman 18 years or older, a registered voter, of good moral character, having an interest in the Clubs purpose and willingness to participate in the Clubs projects may be eligible for membership.  A prospective member must complete an application, remit payment of annual dues and initiation fee and be sponsored by one current active club member.  New members may be accepted at any time. 

Responsibilities of the members: 

¨ Loyalty to the organization and it’s objectives.

¨ Payment of dues and other financial obligations.

¨ Acceptance of responsibility.

¨ Willingness to serve as Chairman.

¨ Regular attendance at meetings.

¨ Participation in discussions at meetings.

¨ Voting in accordance with your conscience.

¨ Abiding by decisions of majority vote.

¨ Observe rules of good conduct.

¨ Vote.

Becoming a GFWC member means joining a local GFWC club, where more than 100,000 members are actively engaged in volunteer community service in approximately 4,000 clubs across the globe.

Annual Dues:   

$25 (renewed before June 1st, includes membership dues for GFWC, GFWC Virginia and Lee District)

Initiation Fee:

$10 (one time)

Club Meetings:

Second Thursday of each month, September through May, 7:00 PM at a local Church.

Executive Board Meetings:

Fourth Thursday of month, six times annually, at a local Church at 7:00 PM.

Club Purpose:

To broaden our scope of interest, widen our sphere of usefulness, exert our influences and enrich our family life.
