Any woman 18 years or older, a registered voter, of good moral character, having an interest in the Clubs
purpose and willingness to participate in the Clubs projects may be eligible for membership. A prospective member must
complete an application, remit payment of annual dues and initiation fee and be sponsored by one current active club member.
New members may be accepted at any time.
Responsibilities of the
¨ Loyalty to the organization and it’s objectives.
¨ Payment of dues and other financial obligations.
¨ Acceptance of responsibility.
¨ Willingness to serve as Chairman.
¨ Regular attendance at meetings.
¨ Participation in discussions at meetings.
¨ Voting in accordance with your conscience.
¨ Abiding by decisions of majority vote.
¨ Observe rules of good conduct.
Becoming a GFWC member means joining a local GFWC club, where more than 100,000 members are
actively engaged in volunteer community service in approximately 4,000 clubs across the globe.
