Syptic, astringent & stimulating.
Use a large glass jar and fill half way with a mixture of 3 parts fresh sage leaves, 1 part yarrow flowers & 1 part
fresh or dried lavender flowers. For mentholated version, add either 1 part eucalyptus leaves or 1 part peppermint
leaves.
Fill the rest of the jar with grain alcohol or apple cider vinegar. Shake well. Let sit for 2 weeks, shaking a couple
times everyday. Strain & add water to dilute to desired strength. If you have dry skin, add 1-2 Tbsp glycerine or
almond oil.
Invigorating!
Use a big glass jar. Pour in 2 cups witch hazel extract (liquid kind, like the rubbing alcohol bottles, should be in same
area at stores) & 2 TBsp Apple cider vinegar.
Add 1 oz, dried lavender flowers, 1 oz. dried sage & shake. Let steep for 1 week, then strain & bottle.
1 part Witch Hazel (liquid)
1 part Rose water or Orangeflower water
1 part vegetable glycerine
1 part herb water
Mix together and bottle.
Use mint tea instead of herb water which is stimulating, or Rose or Jasmine flower to sooth, Bay rum to close the
pores.
1 part apple cider vinegar
1 part vegetable glycerin or witch hazel
Mix together.
10 Quince seeds
1 cup water
herb water
Boil seeds in cup of water until a gel forms. Then dilute gel with the herb water until you get it to the consistency you like. Ready to use. A batch should last about a week in the fridge.
