September 20, 2004: New Champion Crowned; next GPW
show? *A new GPW Light Heavyweight Champion was crowned on August 21, 2004 in Ozark, AR at the Gymnasium. Newcomer
Frank Thornton was awarded the belt when the champion, "Tiger" Treach Phillips, Jr., failed to appear for a scheduled title
defense against Thornton. Thornton went on to defeat Running Wolf in an immediate title defense as ordered by the GPW Board
of Directors. *GPW has announced an official hiatus from promoting at least until Summer 2005. Although success has been
rampant, the Board of Directors met and voted to regroup and then launch a new and improved company. However, two GPW titles
will remain active in the form of Thornton's Light Heavyweight and "The Cajun Sensation" Blade Boudreaux's Global Heavyweight
titles. Boudreaux and Thornton will be defending their belts on the top independent shows around the U.S.
May 21, 2004: GPW-Mississippi is born; new stars to debut
*GPW is pleased and excited to announced that an office is currently in the process of being placed in Mississippi.
Be sure to check the schedule for upcoming shows as the debut show is already set for July 10th in McComb with a Global Heavyweight
Title defense by "The Cajun Sensation" Blade Boudreaux against Brickhouse Brown and the debut of several new stars to the
Global Pro Wrestling family. Former OVW Southern Tag Team Champion "Mr. Personality" Derrick King will make his presence
felt as he takes on local favorite Scott Starr. King has appeared on WWE programming and had a phenomenal run in Ohio
Valley Wrestling, the WWE's developmental program. Starr is a sensational young talent who at 23 is already making waves
in Memphis Wrestling with his tag team partner Dustin Starr. Trained by "Superstar" Bill Dundee, Scott is a future superstar.
Randy Rocket, who is currently an assistant trainer at the Don Bass School of Wrestling is set to take on "The Prince of Pain"
Joe Kane in a match that is sure to tear the house down. The NEW "All That" of wrestling will perform in the form of

November 15, 2003: Meeting Results; International News
*The GPW Board of Directors recently met in Memphis to discuss a number of issues within the company. The
first item discussed was the actions of Tojo Yamamoto Jr. in a recent GPW Global Heavyweight Title match between Blade Boudreaux
and challenger Don Bass. Yamamoto's blatent interference in the match and subsequent result of a title loss for Boudreaux
led to a decision to suspend Yamamoto for 90-days. "Actions such as these will not be tolerated," stated board member
Pete Riley of Tulsa, OK. The Arkansas State Title was put on vote to be brought back but was cast down with a vote of
4-1. "We feel that too many titles dampen a company," said Commissioner and active board member Boyd Bradford.
Recent negotations were also brought up of an agreement with GPW and a Nigeria wrestling promotion to have the GPW Global
Heavyweight Champion Blade Boudreaux represent the company in an international tour. "I'm excited about the opportunity
to defend my belt overseas," said Boudreaux. The meeting wrapped up shortly thereafter with the next one scheduled for
January 4th in Memphis with GPW-Louisiana, the Global Title, and much more on the agenda.
October 26, 2003: Championship saved?; Board meeting
*The GPW Board of Directors will be having their annual meeting for 2003 this Saturday in Memphis, TN at the
Peabody Hotel and Resort. Among items slated on agenda are the Arkansas State Title, Yamamoto's actions, upcoming events,
and fan appreciation.
October 4, 2003: Boudreaux again champ; awaits legend
* "The Cajun Sensation" Blade Boudreaux regained the GPW Global Heavyweight Title last night in Centerville,
TN. However, Boudreaux doesn't have much time to rest as GPW Officials have already signed him for a defense
agains't "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton on October 28 in Camden, TN!
September 27, 2003: Champ drops strap; demands rematch
* "The Cajun Sensation" Blade Boudreaux lost the GPW Global Heavyweight Title last night to "Outlaw" Don Bass
in Centerville, TN thanks to Tojo Yamamoto Jr! Boudreaux was furious after a loss and demanded a rematch. GPW
Officials granted him the request the next day via a faxed contract.

*Two GPW stars recently made Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Top 500. The GPW Global Heavyweight Champion "The
Cajun Sensation" Blade Boudreaux came in at number 341 while "Tiger" Treach Phillips, Jr. made the list at number 474.
July 24, 2003
*Wrestlecon announces the adding of a booth for Global Pro Wrestling. Wrestlecon will take place August
16-17 in Arlington, TX and will feature legends Michael "P.S." Hayes, Kevin Von Erich, Killer Karl Kox, and numerous other
stars of the 80s'. The GPW booth will feature Global Heavyweight Champion "The Cajun Sensation" Blade Boudreaux and
