yesterdae i bought 2 cheap quality vcds that 's a re-release of the old ultraman (with new editing & music) and another a old masked rider movie. of cos, the quality of both show is expectedly crap & the storyline campy, in todae 's standard. but i jus cant resist the temptation to buy & watch them. for the ultraman, i v seen the tv series dubbed in malay in my primary skool time, but i jus noe i was so fascinated then but cant really remember how the visuals looked. and the efx are real real bad ... now that i myself is animating ...
as for the masked rider super one movie ... this is the only 1 of the 3 movies i din watch when i m small. even though i cant really recall the 1st 2. i always collect masked rider pictures & since i neber get to watch the tv series, i can only imagine how exciting their battle gonna be. & masked rider super one looks so cool ... he 's 1 of them i like a lot. when i finally lay my hands on his movie, special appearance the other 8 riders brother, his image in my heart was totally spoiled.
i really wonder whether i should rewatch all this animation & superheroes show i like so much when i 'm young. it jus kills my perfect memories of them. i can stare at a masked riders picture for whole day las time, but they look so stoopid in their campy story plots to me now.
i guess it is still better to admire them from a distant, blurry memory.

at a younger age, i used to think tat frens are more important than my family members ... cos they r with me most of the time. at that stage of my life, that mentality cant be helped. but now, i realise who are the ones who 'll stick with me right to the end. i 'm glad i ve siblings. 'cos whatever good frens, they 'll ve their own life to go on ... and it 's impossible for them to be with me as much as younger times. in troubled times, all i truly have would be my family.
although as a whole, i still feel that life is very much a lonely process.

really dun regret buying the 'animators survival kit' book by richard williams ... it s so useful although i merely read very long foreword (almost a chapter). the author richard williams is very experienced. just hope i ve time to read & put into use the knowledge well.

i finally confirmed my allergy to aspirin ... i din noe wat to feel abt the whole thing ... hahaha ...
got a headache b4 going to a fren s wedding and i bought some aspirin b4 going in. 15 mins after 2 tablets ... the embarassing moment happens ... my eyes swell .... them did so b4 when i took certain medicines (i never confirm it s cos of aspirin content) but this time it s more serious. by the time i walked down to orchard mrt ... i saw my unsightly reflection on the glass panels i felt like the elephant man or frankenstien thrown in the middle of a busy street ... lowering my head and covering one eye with my hanky ... damn that shameful feeling ... i contact disappeared and i cant see to clearly .. i m oso so worried that the eyes will swell until my eyes are all covered up ... and i tot i ll be more charitable next time to the blind ppl ... imagine their plight! and i got this quite painful injection ... oh gosh wat a stoopid way t get an injection!

jsut couldn't resist the temptation of "LOTR" ...insist on wathcing it alone..and be stupid enuff to get the tixs 10mins b4 the show starts...*lucky* i got a corner 3rd row seat...it's not fun cranking one's headie.. but..i tink it's worth it for killing my suspense..
to be honest...i tot the effects was *awe-inspiring* ...the mesg. is veri well carried...but i felt the movie din do the *novel* much justice....and it din really leave me with a *generally* good feeling...that it was INDEED a good movie..i dun noe..whether it could be the 3rd row..cranking my head biasness or wat.. hope to hear some of your views....

my 1st trial on photos with P formats on my APS camera.
but very ex, a dollar per photo developing ... but it s so big and looked so sharp and detailed ... can even see the water droplets on the canoe if held closer ( hahaha ... exaggeration ) ... i oso killed my almost new roll of film in my lomo on that same day ... yet i developed it in a matte finish that not scanner friendly wan ... see how ... cant upload the lomo so fast :(

also saw minority report trailer, the new steven speilberg/tom cruise film, some parts remind me of brazil, when special forces barge into civilian house for arrest ... the plot seems to be abt in the future, crime can be foreseen, so there s this precrime department thingee that send special forces to arrest criminals b4 they even commit the crime ... hmmmmm ... sounds to me a bit difficult to pull off such plot ... but since it s by steven & tom, maybe they ll give new life to a b-plot? let s see.

been putting some hope on the ubin trip for some new elements for photo taking, the trip is ok but jus that it din turn to be so good. even before it started, the nite b4, i was runing here and there after a 9 pm show trying to get films (which i kept pushing it to the las minute to do).now, i did get the mormal films but not the aps films ... thus i got onli 11 left to cover ubin.
in the morning, got a bad throat and bad stomach, yet i m set for it. after so many yrs, i m glad i finally found out in this trip that i can still handle cycling ... haha! though wasnt too steady in the beginning ... and as i expected, i got blue-black on 1 of my legs now, feels it every step i take but it s ok. today i slept almost all day, except for the ultraman zearth i watched awake. it cant be the effect of the cough drop, it should long wear off ... is age really catching up ... so tiring i m after a little trip with a few hrs of cycling ... ahhh .. i better not sound like mid life crisis here :P

it is truly a painful thing to reflect on urself to find tat all the old problems old fault still exist. sometimes u thought u can jus hide and live life without comtemplating too much ... but somehow personality jus determines most of the things in life. when similiar fate keeps recurring, it s a demon that needs to be rid of, or it ll keep coming bck ... it would be easier if it s one big battle, but it has to be a life long challenge of will, discipline and faith, a little wrong step and everything i ve treasured so much goes to pieces.
much as i like to be forgiving to myself, as life has been so unforgiving already, it s still not worth the risk of being caught off guard, when the old demon should come back in the most unexpected hour.
