yummy colorful mini crackers from my aunt. before they are fried, they are even smaller & star-shaped. looks nicer than this. nevertheless, am sure everyone would prefer them fried :P

out of the blue i remember this news article about youths pledging to stay abstinent before marriage couple days ago. what interested me is this 'balloon blowing' game one church let the youngster played. apparently the teenagers were given balloons with holes to blow to illustrate the point that 'since balloons can have holes, so can condoms'. it is supposedly meant to discourage them from premarital sex.

what if they didnt even bother about condoms in the first place ...

i truly wonder how it feels to ve such a lavatory.

this scene was not used in the project after i almost completed it. i m not satisifed with the wooden planks but am already bored with doing this kinda mundane task. i do ve an interesting idea to add some human element so that this image can relate more to viewer. but it gonna take much effort so i just let go. it shall be destined a normal piece of interior rendering.

The Polar Express trailer ... CG Tom Hanks ... both kid & old man ... i m waiting to see if they can capture his acting (facial) convincingly in the actual film. but of course, we can all expect this film to stir some talk on this old issue of CG actors replacing real actors again.

the second incarnation, roboi. the design is not by me. i don't usually do so much post effects on my 3D render. i m not guru on effects so this may seemed a little overdone (?). but the one who pays always get to tell me what to do.

finally got Ultraman fixed but also learnt an pretty expensive lesson. i ve spent 480 bucks for a new motherboard only to realise it s the RAM that is the source of trouble. nevertheless, as i ve said, all i want to think of it now, is as an expensive lesson, whatever that is.

i think i ve overcome my 'hardware phobia' & know my workstation inside out now, more or less. it s always better not to be over dependent on other people in things like that.

i shall go spend somemore on faster RAM tmr. i just ve to be glad my com is up & running again. it feels weird but true that my livelihood is so dependent on a computer but at least it s not my entire existence being so. i should also be grateful to have friends like marc who would take time & come over my place to help me out.

i just finished watching the new batman feature length animation, mystery of the batwoman. i m not a diehard fan of the dark knight so i ve thought that it s about batgirl ... anyway there simply too many of all these sidekicks spinning off, who would ve go keep track of them. well, i take that back. they ought to be the those who live in gotham instead of the real world haha.

there are some backgrounds that look like papercut style in this batman animation but i think it generally sticks to the new animated batman series look. then there is this catchy theme song botcha nova (although i thought it should be 'bet ya never' ... the way it sounds in the song). reminds me of shakira 's song, or jewel 's intuition ... very tango like that.

overall, i like warner bros previous batman beyond return of joker slightly more.
