i 'borrowed' the lyrics from clarins. & thankz to her i finally got to listen to the whole song instead of that 1 line from the tv promo. i like the lyrics very much when i 1st read them without listening to the song itself. & i thought usually lyrics too good the song not very nice. but it proves me wrong.

too bad so damn high she sings. i can't sing in the bathroom.

my bro has been writing a chinese short story for a competition in taiwan for a few mths. i only know abt it recently. it isnt the kinda story that s easy to swallow but i like it a lot. esp some of the dialogues. it is written at the lowest point of his life. the tone is really pessimistic yet i can identify with it so much. yeah, i am oso in low point of life, & wondering maybe it ll be forever like this. ironically, if that is the case, it can't be considered a low point, can it?

after all these years, his writing skills has not gotten any rusty. i thought i can make a short film on it but it is really a tough one to translate to visual.

at 1st it is just mildly irritating ... but to my horror it actually grows on me ... & i unconsciously begin to hum it in the lift, in the bathroom, or silently in my mind.

for the uninformed, this is the tune of a new wonderful bra tvc, in which 3 kawaii yet expressionless jap girls hop/dance to, in an almost robotic manner. of course, with such treatment, they really achieved the objective of not giving male audience much undesirable imagination. it turns the animal inside us off & focus on the bra 's functions. but there is somethng just funny abt it & yet i can't burst out laughing at it. it s jus weird.

btw, i think it must be a wonderful bra that gives firm support, there are close-ups of how stable it can be even while the girls hop up & down. i bet even nicoll highway collapse they ll still be unshaken. nevertheless, as a guy, i would definitely love to see movements ... it feels so surreal if nothing bounces when the girls keep hopping up & down vigorously. not sure abt other guys though.

did this drawing from a photo of ikebukuro in MOOK magazine. pencil with photoshop adjustment layers/colorise/levels. with my rusty & shaky hands, i finally made a drawing without the computer ever since design school. i think my drawing skills ve too much rooms for improvement.

i started the digital paint version but not sure if i ll see through it.

as i model gatchaman, i realise he has got a certain sexy feel. it must be the boots. maybe also because i didn't do an alex ross style, but follow the very old gatchaman book character pictures & gave him body tight spantex suit. however there is this kinkiness in those boots i can't help noticed. not sure if i work on the legs & add more muscle defination would help. or make them less shapely. else G-force would become Gay Force.

i ve also take care not to over exaggerate the muscular built. gatchaman never have ridiculously big muscles yet still perform incredible fight stunts. i try to lean towards the altheletic body type than that of a bodybuilder. i ve yet to refine on his face.

*btw i just realise yoshitaka amano 天野喜孝 did the character design for gatchaman. no wonder those long boots!
