The Allstars faced off against Zingari and Waikaka B in their two pool games at the Balfour 7s, 2003. They also played a friendly against Waikaka A

The first game was against Zingari at 11am. The starting lineup was:

The third game was against Waikaka B at 2pm. The starting lineup was:

The team was pretty fired up for this match, seeing it as their best chance to take the Allstars first victory. The team started pretty well. Before two minutes were up Candy grabbed a loose pass by Waikaka, took it up and passed to Joel who then drew in his marker and threw a long ball to Cunninghame on the wing. Cunninghame then used his extreme pass to speed away from the chasing players and jog in for his first Allstar try.
