I've been pretty busy preparing for my trip to Japan next month...
should be lots of cool stuff to see there. If you've been wondering
what I've been up to, I've been spending what little free time I
have in the past week on my other hobby. Check it out here!

Been really busy with work. The slump in the IT industry should
mean less work but things have just gotten more and more hectic.
Anyway, here's
a new review on the HGUC
RX-78-2 Gundam!
I've got so
many kits waiting to be built it's not even funny!

I know it's been almost a week since my last update. My apologies.
I was very ill so I was in bed most of the week. Will try to keep
the updates coming.
Updated the
putty tip in the tips
section with a little extra info from Stephen Lee.
Nu-Gundam/Gouf
Custom/Kampfer paint techniques - I've received quite
a few mails from the pictures of these models that I posted on gundam.com
and here on my site. Thanks for all the interest in my techniques.
I will try to put up comprehensive information soon. But until then,
I feel I owe you something so here is a simple
page I'll update as regularly as possible in the meantime.

Takashimaya shopping centre to see the Gundam Challenge entries.
Very impressive stuff. Looking at them made me feel sad that I couldn't
finish mine though... oh well, there's always next time.

go down with my digicam for some pics!!!

Sandrock. I'm no Wing fan, but the proportions on these look
good.

Some interesting stuff I found around the net from
my friend's site hobbygeek.com:
- Scan of scratchbuilt
MSN-04 Accguy here.
- Lotsa cool
pics of HK gundam modelling competition here.
Update of some
sales in Singapore:
- Takashimaya
- still having 20% off their gundams... for a long time already.
Limited selection though
- Seiyu Parkway
- 1/100 Shenlong Gundam for $19.90. Thanks to Joey for the update.
Some of you
have seen this
in the September issue of Hobby Japan. My friend who reads Japanese
tells me that they are limited releases using Bandai's new coating
technique to achieve camouflage. If you ask me, the design's a little
too complicated *and* they should have gone all the way and done
the chest too... what's the point of camouflage if you have that
glaring blue visible? More info here
on Newtype
Asylum.

Just thought you might like to know, Miniature Hobby at Bugis Junction
