I looked back to see if anyone noticed us going. I could have sworn I saw Chloe looking at me with this disappointed look in her eyes. She turned away quickly and I thought nothing more of it.
I grinned at Kat. She was really hot. "So…Kat…how old are you?"
"Fifteen," she replied.
I melted. Someone needed to call for a clean up in aisle twelve.
Kat smiled at me. That was a good sign. I offered her a drink.
"Yea, a can of Pepsi's fine."
I took out two cans of Pepsi and handed her one.
"Can we go outside?" she asked. "I mean, I wanna get to know you as well as everyone out there better."
"Oh, sure," I spoke. I was kinda hurt that she didn't just want to stay and talk with me, but that was understandable.
We walked outside, I wish I could say hand in hand.
Ike, Lic, and Chloe were gone. Tay was seated on the stoop with a frown on his face. His ever-beloved Felicity was gone. Yea, they went out before, but Tay wasn't ready to end the relationship. That's why Felicity did. All they ever did was go to Mickey D's, stay home, or go to the movies. The movies or even home for that matter would have been better if they actually did something. And I mean other than watch the movie…like Tay did. I'm thirteen years old and I even know that one for God's sakes! Cryin' out loud, Ike knows that one!
Kat sat down next to Tay. "Hey, why so down?" she asked with a flirty tone in her voice.
Why was she flirting with Tay? She could flirt with me. I'm much better at it. I pouted, turned around and walked back into the house. A good N64 game like Yoshi would cheer me up. I could actually beat that game. And so, that's what I did…while pouting that is.
I sighed and wished Ike, Lic, and Chloe had asked me to go along.
I hit the buttons on my blue controller harshly. "It's *click* not *click* fair! *click*" I rolled my eyes. "Great, Zac, now you're talking to yourself. Healthy."
I shook my head and paused the game. I laid back on the soft rug and put my head down on the even softer pillow. "I need a girl," I concluded. "And I will get one."
