Carol awoke nine-thirty the next morning. She was worried beyond belief and couldn't eat. She decided on calling some of Noelle's friends. Her two best friends at least. Collette and Felicity. She pulled out her daughter's address book and found Collette's home phone number. Carol picked up the phone and dialed.

"Hello?" Kathy, Col's mother answered.

"Kathy, it's Carol."

"Oh, hi, Car. What's new?" Kathy asked.

"I have some bad news. Noelle was poisoned last night. At the dance I suppose. She's in the hospital now," Carol replied.

"Ohmigod! Carol! Is she okay?" Kathy asked, worried.

"Yes, but if you could just tell Collette and call Ann Marie and ask her to tell Felicity," Carol asked.

"Of course! What time do visiting hours start? And what room is she in?" Kathy asked.

"Visiting house are ten-thirty. She's in room 117B," Carol replied.

"Okay! You'll probably see us there," Kathy said.

"Thanks. Well, I have to go and call those Hanson boys," Carol said.

"Okay. See you later," Kathy said.

"Bye."

"Bye."

The women hung up and Carol breezed through Noelle's address book. She landed on H. There were two numbers for the Hansons. One entitled "Isaac" with hearts around it and one just "Hanson". She called the house number.

"Hello, Hanson residence," answered a young male voice.

"Hi, is Mr. or Mrs. Hanson around?" Carol asked.

"Yes, may I ask who's calling?" the voice replied.

"It's Mrs. Adams."

"Okay, hang on," the voice spoke.

After about thirty seconds, Diana picked up. "Carol, hi! What's new?"

"Hi, Diana. I've called to tell you that Noelle is in the hospital. Seems she was poisoned last night," Carol spoke gently.

"Ohmigod! Is she okay?" Diana asked concerned.

"Yes. If you could tell the boys, that'd be great," Carol said.

"Of course! What time do visiting hours start? What room is she in? I'm sure the boys will want to get there right away," Diana asked.

"Visiting hours start at ten-thirty and she's in room 117B," Carol replied.

"Okay, well I'll let you go," Diana said. "We'll be there as soon as we can."

"Alright. Thank you," Carol replied. "Bye."

"Bye."

"She's what?" Col asked, incredulously.

"In the hospital. She was poisoned," Kathy repeated.

"Ohmigod! I knew something was wrong!" Collette exclaimed, throwing on a pair of jeans. "Mom, we have to get there!"

"You'll have to wait a half hour. Visiting hours start at ten-thirty," Kathy spoke.

"Ugh!" Col exclaimed and continued dressing anyway. She wasn't going to waste any time.

"You're kidding me, right, Mom?" Felicity asked Ann Marie.

"No. She was poisoned last night," Ann Marie spoke softly.

"Oh God…I knew something was wrong…" Felicity trailed. "When can we visit?"

"Ten-thirty," Ann Marie replied.

"Okay," Lic sighed and began getting dressed.
