Both of them breathing heavily, they both laid there, the heat between their bodies comforting.
"That...that was...God I love you," Jenn whispered.
"I love you, Baby," Zac replied, his head lying on her chest.
Jennifer leaned down some and kissed the top of his head.
"I...I hope your first time was as incredible as mine..."
"Baby...it was...there aren't words...It was out of this world. And it was with you."
Zac nodded. "You're so right, Baby," he spoke. "That's most important. That's just what I wanted it to be...with you."
Jenn gave a soft smile. "You have no idea how content I am right now knowing that I proved my love for you. My real, true love."
Zac nodded. "Me too, Baby...Me too." He pushed a few stray hairs from her face, a light smile creeping onto his.
"Can we stay here like this forever?"
Zac nodded. "If it means you being happy? Anything."
Jenn smiled lightly and held Zachary tighter. "I love you," she whispered lightly.
"And I love you, Baby."
Jennifer's eyelids began to fall and she began falling under the spell of sleep. Until she heard a bang. Her body jumped and Zac looked at her.
"Baby? Are you okay?"
Jennifer remained quiet for a moment. "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"That bang..."
Zac listened closely for any movement in the house other than their two bodies. "Baby...I-"
There was another loud bang.
"I'm gonna go check it out...You stay here," Zachary spoke, getting up.
"No...Baby, please. Don't. Not by yourself," Jenn pleaded as she watched him pull on his clothes.
"Don't worry. I'm sure it's nothing."
"Zac, if you're going down there, I'm going with you."
"Jenn...No. Stay up here."
"If it's nothing than why can't I come?" Jenn asked, pulling her clothes on also.
Zac sighed. She may have changed a lot, but she was still stubborn. "Baby, I don't want you getting hurt."
"I'll be fine," she assured.
"Alright," Zac unwillingly gave in. "Stay close."
Jenn nodded as they walked out of his room, both being sure the other was right there.
Zachary walked, ahead of Jennifer, slowly down the steps. Slowly, they made their way around the lower level of the house.
The two had found nothing as the made their way to the kitchen and garage. Nothing had been in the kitchen. "Wait here," Zachary whispered, heading to the garage.
Jenn nodded lightly, cautiously picking up a knife. She was really scared. With everything that had been happening...
"I don't see anything," Zac said as he walked back into the kitchen.
"Then what do you think that was?" Jenn asked, turning around, looking at the kitchen.
She turned around again just in time to see a person dressed in all black sneaking up behind Zac.
She froze in fear, but managed to choke out his name. "Zac!"
Zachary didn't have a quick enough reaction and let out a choked cry as the knife penetrated through his skin.
"Zac!" Jenn cried again, tears streaking her face. She went to run to his side, but the figure stopped her.
"Stay right there, Missy," a deep voice spoke.
"Why are you doing this?" Jenn choked through tears.
"Chill out, Chick. Put the knife on the counter and I don't have to kill you yet."
Jennifer placed the knife on the counter, her eyes locked on Zac.
He was laying on his side, clutching the lower right half of his back, giving off low groans.
"Don't hurt us...Please...we're too young to die..."
"Yeh, yeh. You know how many times I got that?"
"Then do it to me. Not him. Please, not him."
"Blah, blah, blah."
Jennifer let out a distressed cry. "Why? Just tell me that."
"Because I wanna..."
Jenn looked over to Zac again, her eyes desperate.
This couldn't be the end.
The two of them...They had so much to live for. So, so much. They were supposed to grow old and die together. With two great kids...and a nice little house in Tulsa.
This couldn't be the end...
Jennifer swallowed. "If you're going to kill me...Do it now."
Or could it?
The End.
