You people are NEVER gonna believe me! Well, if you do or if you don't, that's up to you. ANYWAY, on the night of September 3, 1998, one of my local radio stations, Z100, was giving away Hanson tickets for the Jones' Beach concert. Well, around seven that night, the DJ's were talking about something to do with Hanson...they wouldn't tell us what though and made us wait. Finally, around eight-eight thirty, they yet again were giving away tickets. I called in, being the weirdo Hanson fan I am. A rep. from Z100 *I'm just gonna call it the Z. Kay?* picked up. I asked, "Hi, did you give away the Hanson tickets already?"

She replied, "Yea, sorry. What's your name? Where are you from?"

"Jenn," I replied, then continued to tell her where I was from.

The Z: "If you could ask Hanson one question, what would it be?"

Me *kiddingly*: "If they would come home with me."

The Z:"Seriously. I may be able to put you on the line with them."

Me: "Ohmigosh. Seriously?"

The Z: "Yes."

Me*now remember, I'm already almost hyperventalating and my heart is going like, a thousand miles a minute. Not to mention I can't think straight*: "Uhm...I guess what it's like to be successful all around the world and loved by all." *I know...it's pathetic, but if YOU were in a spot like that, what would YOU say?*

The Z: "Okay. I'll try to get you on."

Me: "Kay. Thanks."

Okay, at this point I was put on hold. I could hear Ike on the phone *I was shaking and going like, nuts that I was just listening to him...I STILL get these MAJOR aldrenaline rushes just THINKING about it.* I heard them ask about girlfriends and there was the usual, "Uhmmmm...no."

Then, Kid Kelly, one of the DJ's asks, "So, Ike, boxers or briefs?" *or something like that. I could only half listen in the first place.*

Ike then says, "Uhhhmmmm.....I think we're gonna leave that one anonymous...you have your brief days, and you have your boxer days."

At this point I was like, OH MY GOD, being an Ike lover and all.

So, they cut to a commercial...with me still on hold. In that time, I called my friend, Cathy, on my line only to find that she wasn't home! *I was frantic & I needed someone to talk to!* Instead of talking to Cathy, I talked to her sis, Susan. I was like, in hysterics on the phone with her...if I didn't call, I would have been WAYYY worse! I was hyperventalating and nearly in tears...*I know, I was obsessed.*

After the commercials, they started to play songs...after sitting on the phone for AT LEAST forty-five minutes, a rep. from the Z came on and told me they ran out of time with Hanson. I was like, NO! I was REALLY upset considering two days previous I was caller 95.

So, I talked to Susan for awhile...she was only to calm me down a bit. When Cathy came home, I told her the whole story...it was a good thing I was REALLY tired that night...I would have NEVER been able to sleep!
