This is an early painting of "Natalie".
In the background is a reduced copy of an award winning painting that was selected 3rd prize by the
Pastel Society of Eastern Canada,October 1998.
When I was given this commission I thought it would be a nice touch to put the apples in
the background. I think it was a little vain to do it but I was proud of the award and I hope it doesn't take away, any
of the beauty of this lovely, exceptional women.(Now a mother of 2). I would love to paint her again, and her children
someday.
I thank Nathalie and her husband Charles for giving me the chance to
prove myself.
