Family Banner

banner.jpg (45914 bytes)

This family banner was designed and made by Angel Castellano to represent our family heritage. The Castle de Castilla and the lion from Spain represent our Spanish heritage. France represents Cruz's great-grandmother, and Aztec represents Maura and our Indian lines. The stars, strips and eagle represent our family who has their roots in the United States. The cross at the top of the banner symbolizes that we are under God.  The first generation in the United States changed the surname from Castellanos to Castellano.

The first appearance of the banner was at a family reunion of July 26, 1997. Angel hopes to display the banner at all future family reunions.
