the first player of the month ever is mr sheldon souray of the montreal canadiens. i picked "the hammer" because of many reasons. first of all, his comeback is something big. he waited until his wrist was all better to come back, and even though it was a long wait, he did it. he is also doing very well in the preseason as opposed to the rest of his team, and he scored his first goal on september 27 in the game versus buffalo. he is also my new hunk of burning love {yes, he is equal to chow *gasp!*}because when i met him this summer, he was totally cool and so nice with me andi want to congratulate him and his beautiful wife on the birth of their new daughter, valentina. {which is a total coincidence cause my mommy wanted to name me that and only changed her mind at the last minute cause my daddy hated it} anyways, i wish sheldon the best and hope he has a great, healthy, successful season.
