¤ FAQ

You've got questions.  We've got answers.

  • What is my ID number?

If your site is in the ring go to the ring index and search for your site.  Your ID number is listed beside your site's title.

If your site is not yet in the ring go to the queue and search for your site.  Your ID number is listed beside your site's title.
  • Why do I have to have the ring code on the main page of my site?

For several reasons: It makes the ring easer to surf for the visitor, makes the ring a better one, and gives more sites more hits.  Any site in the ring that does not have their code on the main page is robbing the person next in line of the hits they deserve and will be removed from the ring till the problem is corrected.
  • Why hasn't my site been added to the ring?

Have you been accepted into the ring?  If so have you placed the code on the main page of your site?  If so, have you emailed me letting me know it's up and ready for inspection?

  • Why wasn't my site accepted into the ring?

There are several reasons why sites are not accepted into the Holy Ska & Punk Web Ring.  Does your site meet the requirements listed on the requirements page?  You may have entered the wrong url (this happens often) and when I checked it out it did'nt go anywhere.  Is you site completed?  If you site is still in it's first stages of development your site will not be accepted into the ring.  So "This is going to be my Ska site" as a webpage doesn't count.

  • Why was my site removed from the ring and place in the queue?

Is your code correct and in place on the main page of your site?  Has the purpose of your site changed?  Have you moved your site and not updated your site information?  Does your site meet the requirements on the requirment page?

  • Was your question not answered?  Please email me.
