Durning the 60's short hair was all the rave. Blokes would grow their
hair out beatle lenght and the birds would keep theres short in a sharp bob. Another style still was long hair
with thick bangs, usually the bangs would reach the eybrows.
Head bands add instant charm to a shag hair cut. Bangs are very essential for the mod look.
A popular style was the flip. Long hair would be curled up at the ends, usually you'd complement the look with long bangs.
Curls weren't a thing for the mods, so make sure you end up with a flip and not shirly temple curls. Some loose curls might
look good on long hair Pattie Boyd had loose curls in her hair at different times in her career. You could also try Penelope's
look, it work best if you have very thick straight hair. Your hair would be all one legth with thick bangs in the front. I
think this look also works better with darker hair.

A Bob is a simple haircut that gives instant modness to a modern day girl. Bobs can be shaped many ways, I have a few
photos to demonstrate some styles. Mary Quant and Peggy moffit both sported sharp wedged bobs. This looks best if you have
straight hair. If you don't you can easily solve that with a hair straightener. And with the length of a bob it wouldn't take
long to straighten it out.

The Twiggy look is my favorite. I don't advise cutting your hair that short if it grows slowly, you may never grow it
back out. It's a choir boy cut very good if you have a pretty face and bright eyes. Twiggy made this cut the desire of
many girls who began to do her make up tecniques and cut their hair short like hers. Her look also caused many girls to diet
trying to achieve her 90lb figure.
AND Shorter than Short
Mia Farrow couldn't spare a pound, so this cute little waif cut it all off. Her look was created by vidal sasson
