garden at St-Gildard's Convent. Bernadette liked this
statue better than any others.

The body of St. Bernadette as if was in her first coffin. The Crucifix
you see, Sister Marie-Bernard received when she pronounced her religous
vows and which was placed in her hands after her death, where it
remained until August 20, 1909.
The body of Bernadette as it is placed today, located to the right
of the main altar in Saint-Gildard's Chapel.
